Designated Coax2 CT 48 S, this latest Draka addition to an extensive coaxial cable range offers superior 2dB attenuation per 100m at 230 MHZ, a solid copper inner conductor of less than 5 mm and a screening factor bettering 120dB from 30MHz to 1 GHz. Draka’s trunk cable will fit the need for long-term, sustainable backbone infrastructures currently demanded by CATV and broadband services networks.
Foam-PE (polyethylene) inner insulation improves this cable’s mechanical properties, adding flexibility to tensile and impact resistance. This makes it a best choice for direct buried and duct laying operations in a broad range of terrains and temperature extremes.
