OM1 standard 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber (C02)

Application: This fiber is a graded-index multimode fiber suitable for transmission speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It has a 62.5 μm core diameter and a 125 μm cladding diameter. The fiber is designed for use at 850 and/or 1300 nm.
This fiber is suitable for use in premises wiring application like LAN’s with video, data and or voice services using LED, VCSEL and Fabry-Perot laser sources.

OM2 standard 50/125 µm multimode fiber (C23)

Application: This fiber is a graded-index multimode fiber suitable for transmission speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It has a 50 μm core diameter and a 125 μm cladding diameter. This fibre is a laser-optimised, graded-index multimode OM3 fibre suitable for transmission speeds of 10 Gb/s or higher. It has a 50 μm core diameter and a 125 μm cladding diameter. The fibre is optimised for maximum transmission properties at 850 nm; but is also well suited for 1300 nm systems. This fibre is fully compliant to the OM3 specification. The fibre supports 1000 m link length for a 1000BASE-SX system and 300 m for 10GBASE-SX, as well as 550 m for a 1000BASE-LX system.

This fibre is a laser-optimised, graded-index multimode OM4 fibre suitable for transmission speeds of 10 Gb/s or higher. It has a 50 μm core diameter and a 125 μm cladding diameter. The fibre is optimised for maximum transmission properties at 850 nm; but is also well suited for 1300 nm systems. This fibre is fully compliant to the OM4 specification. The fibre supports 1100 m link length for a 1000BASE-SX system and 550 m for 10GBASE-SX, as well as 550 m for a 1000BASE-LX system. In data centres this fibre supports coming 40G/100G systems.

Application: This enhanced Single mode fiber provides improved performance across the entire 1260 nm to 1625 nm wavelength spectrum due to its low attenuation in 1383 nm the water-peak region.

BendBright-XS Single mode fiber, G.657.A2 and G.657.B2 (C24)

This enhanced low macro bending sensitive, low water peak fibre, gives unsurpassed bending performance. The preferred use of the BendBright-XS fibre is in office installations, for patch cords, interconnection cables and for Fibre-to-the-Home networks. The BendBright-XS offers reduced bending radii for many cables types. The fibre fulfils the new ITU G.657 A2 and G.657 B2 specification (edition 2009), as well as G.652.D. The low macro bending sensitivity further guarantees that the 1625 nm window (L-band) will be available for future use in this bandwidth hungry environment.
