Optical fiber data assembly cables 

Single- and two fiber cables for patch cords, jumpers and pigtails. 

 

 

The cables are as standard made with 900 micron buffered fibres, aramid yarns is used as strength member, and the sheath is LSHF/LSOH material. The cables may also be used for indoor subscriber connections for FTTH systems. The cables are halogen free, low smoke and features an IEC 60332-3-24 fire rating. The single and two fiber cables come in several dimensions and with two main buffer types:

ES9 - Tight buffer
With Draka’s ES9 tight buffer for general application. The ES9 buffer tight buffer is indented for general use and is ideal for field mountable connectors.
LS9 - Semi tight buffer
With Draka’s LS9 semi tight buffer for applications where the exposure of a long length of the primary coated fiber is essential. The LS9 buffer may be stripped 1 meter to the coating.
