Optical splitter calculations (ConceptXS feature)
NetDesign ConceptXS is an extension to the NetDesign module in the DrakaXSNet Software Suite.
Through a mix of automation, smart interpretation, pure speed and ease of use it enables network designers to calculate and recalculate an unlimited number of concepts and iterations. It calculates the best splitter types to employ and the best places to locate them in the network. In addition, it helps designers choose the most appropriate cables and wiring configurations to minimize costs.
Settings:
- Split-ratio per subscriber
- Preference for first splitter to attach
- Splitter types per node
- Minimum lines per splitter
- Preferred fiber count per cable type
- Spare factors and connection rates
