Detailed registration up to fiber level
NetID’s seamless integration with NetDesign means nodes and lines imported from the latter are placed in NetID’s network tree map and GIS. The resulting ‘objects’ (nodes and lines) only need to be defined once to make them ready for use in the whole project.
Whenever an object is imported, all sub-elements are added automatically and can be changed manually for local adjustments. Information about cable types and tube and fiber colors is taken from the defined objects automatically, as is information about splice cassettes and numbers for specified closures.
Whenever an object such as a closure or cable is selected, all fiber connections are shown along with status, service, client, operator, etc. In addition, it is possible to show the route a fiber takes through a network (including all details) as a table, with symbols, or on the GIS map.
