The American Recovery & Reinvestment act appropriated $7.2 billion toward multiple programs such as: RUS Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP), NTIA Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP), Public Computer Centers (PCC), Sustainable Broadband Adoption, and Middle Mile Infrastructure.
